Workplace giving campaigns have been a staple of United Way for decades. In fact, we're often associated with coining the phrase, "I gave at the office." Many people choose to "give at the office" by donating by check, credit card, requesting a bill, or, mostly, via payroll deduction. Payroll deduction makes it easy to give a little each pay period, which provides the opportunity to give a larger donation over time. Talk to your employer for details. If your employer currently does not hold a United Way campaign, please encourage them to do so.
